2022 ALPFA National Convention

This year, 9 of our members were able to attend the national convention. They had the opportunity to meet members from chapters across the country, network with recruiters, hear from guest speakers. Check out our highlight on our Instagram.
SCHOLARSHIPS
We had 3 members of our chapter be ALPFA scholarship recipients! Jennifer Reyes, President, received the Women on ALPFA Scholarship, Jocelyn Avalos, Marketing Director, received a Goldman Sachs scholarship, and Merari Velazquez, Marketing Assistant, received an Ally Scholarship.
JOB OFFERS
Furthermore, we also had 3 members receive internship offers from the recruiters attending the convention! Christian Garcia, Junior, received an offer from Goldman Sachs, Victor Tierrafria, Sophomore, received an offer from PwC, and Merari Velazquez, Sophomore, received an offer from Boeing!
Regional Student Symposium
Chicago, Illinois | September 24
40 members attended the Regional Student Symposium hosted by ALPFA Chicago. This event took place inside the United Airlines Headquarters based in the Willis Tower. This day long event included a keynote speaker, various workshops and a career fair!
